Rubber Arms, But My Kitchen Looks Great

Hey folks. It's been a while since I've around, I know. I've been busily trying to get the kitchen remodel finished. Last night I grouted the back splash. My arms are like rubber today. We (my brother did most of the work) installed the back splash over the weekend. But I did the grouting. Have you ever tried to get grout to go between a bunch of one-inch mosaic tiles? Not easy, let me tell you. By the time I finished, I thought I was going to cry.

From all of this manual labor, you'd think that I was getting lots of good exercise. Well, my entire body is aching and swollen. While the exercise is probably good, it's painful when you aren't used to it. Oh, I do cardio and some strength exercise, but nothing compared to grouting for 90 minutes. Anyway, I could go on and on about my pain and misery, but what's the worth of that?

Weight is holding. I've been discussing doing Weight Watchers again. My sister wants to start the program. I'd like to do something that gets the weight off a little faster. It's been very slow going. While I'm not gaining anything—I'm not losing anything either. My change in attitude has helped. I don't feel like I'm doomed if I eat something that I once would've seen as pure failure. But, the weight is hanging around too long.

So that's where I stand right now.

I'm hoping to get some photos of the kitchen. Believe me, it's a totally different room now. Although it's small, it's a lot of work.

That's all for now.
