Weight Watchers Weigh In August 15
Well, the weigh in went well, I guess. I'm down 2.5 pounds. That's 19.5 pounds since the beginning of the Weight Management program and 27.5 pounds since May 2. My goal was to lose 7 pounds by August 18. So I guess I made it. I lost 7.5 pounds in that time. Not bad. I have to "get measured" at the gym. So, I'll let you know how that goes. Well, I guess I'll see you tomorrow.

Kathy, Thanks for posting your blog. I know it's not easy to share your feelings when they aren't all that positive. It feels like people only want to know the good things, but when you mention something bad, it sounds like you are wining.
Tomorrow will conclude my first week of following a healthy, low-carb, high-protein diet. My husband is 14 years older than me and he has been commanded by his doctor to lose weight as quickly as possible. High blood pressure, colestorol, and diabetes at age 39. He's finally taking his medicine and he's doing well on the eating portion of things. But I can't get him to excercise.
Anyway, I'm going off on my own tangent. I will be visiting your site often. I feel like I'm not doing this alone. Thanks!
My husband was only 47 years old when he died. According to his autopsy, he had heart disease for years. Al walked all of the time. His diet was good. But he was a heavy smoker. The day before he died, he got on the roof of my father's house and pulled down a lot of tree limbs that had fallen after a bad storm. There was no indication that he was unhealthy.
